Adult Sunday School

Worldview Marketplace

Meets every Sunday at 10:30 am at the church in room 17. We will compare Christianity to competing world views. The class will be taught by Liz and John Anderson. Set aside a couple of house on Sunday mornings to worship and then study together with a great group of adults (or study and then attend worship). Why should kids have all the fun on Sundays! Call Liz Anderson at 655-1451, ext 14 or email anderson@norotonchurch.org if you have questions.

On the way he makes some arguments against the existence of God we need to understand. Read also the response by his Oxford colleague, eminent theologian and Ph.D. microbiologist Alister McGrath.

The Case for a Creator: A Journalist Investigates Scientific Evidence that Points Toward God by Lee Strobel

New findings are giving faith a boost as we learn more about the complexity of our universe. This is a wonderful book containing interesting interviews with top scientist that show why the world was created by an Intelligent Designer. Lee Strobel said: My road to atheism was paved by science…but, ironically, so was my later journey to God.

The Battle for Truth by David A. Noebel

• February 10 Worldviews in Law, Politics, Economics and History

In MARCH AND APRIL join Liz in discussing how to share your faith with people from different world views: Intellectuals Don’t Need God and Other Modern Myths: Building Bridges to Faith through Apologetics by Alister McGrath. Alister McGrath convincingly breaks down intellectual barriers that come between us and our faith and reasons through questions about the validity of Christianity.
