Sunday School begins September 20, 2009. All children are invited to participate in Sunday School at either the 9:00 or the 10:30 service.

This is the time in your childs life when the foundation of their Chirsitanity is created. Noroton Prebyterian's Children's Minsitry offers Sunday school classes for 3 year olds through 6th grade.

We have wonderful curriculums that makes it fun and easy to learn about God.

We will be using Gospel Light for our three year olds, four year olds and Kindergartners. Gospel Light curriculum is designed to reach kids right where they are. It helps them learn about God and His word through fun discovery learning and creative activities that kids love.

Our Elementray school children will be learning from the Faith Weavers curriculum. Faith Weaver lessons encourage students to focus on the one most important thing in life: a growing relationship with Jesus. Whether they are studying Bible stories from the Old Testament or the New Testament, our children will be encouraged to grow closer to Jesus every week, through meaningful activities, great discussions, and personal challenges.

When it comes to teaching Sunday school we often hear, "I can't teach Sunday school, I wouldn't be good at it." Unfortunately, so many people are under the impression that they have to have some sort of experience to "do a good job." It is simply not the case. All you need is a love for God, and a passion for children.

We have a variety of opportunities We have anumber of ways you can minister to the children in a time frame that will work for you.

• There are openings in both the 9:00 and 10:30 services
• Your commitment would only be for one Sunday a month
• Classes range from 3 years old up to 6th grade
• There are Superintendant and Teacher Assistant positions as well.

You will not be alone You will be supported by seasoned volunteers and the staff in Children's Ministry. There is also a Teacher Fellowship and Exchange prior to the start of Sunday school where you can pick up the church provided materials, meet seasoned volunteers, be inspired and receive instructions.

We will have Sunday School for all children, however it might be restructured because of the number of teachers, workshop leaders and shepherds who will actually be here.
