Equipping.
God has equipped each believer to serve or minister in His name. Each of us has a place, a purpose, a role, and a function to fulfill. God has given each believer Spiritual Gifts through the Holy Spirit to be used to help others. The Equipping Team's purpose is to help each believer discover who they are in God's eyes; what gifts God has given them; and how God may be calling them into meaningful service or ministry. We offer the Spiritual Gifts Workshop several times a year to aid in this discovery process. The team also facilitates connection between open ministry opportunities and those servants who are gifted and willing to minister.

Evangelism and Outreach.
As followers of Christ, we are all called to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others who don't know him. We all have a story to tell about how Christ has made a difference in our life. On the Evangelism pages you will see articles from past Spires to encourage you as you share Christ's love in your family, neighborhood and workplace.
The NPC Evangelism Team focuses its work on the three ministries of Welcome, the New Members Class and Outreach. If you have a desire to help in any of these areas, we would love to have you join the team.

Mission.
God is calling us to be a congregation that heeds both the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
In the Great Commission, Jesus challenges us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and reaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20) The church's primary mission is to make known the mercy, grace and love of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Stewardship.
What Is Stewardship?
Stewardship is about making choices, as individuals and in community. It is more than giving money to the church. Stewardship is about being faithful disciples, caring for and managing all that God has given us.
Stewardship is not just one part of Christian discipleship; it involves every aspect of life in all the stages of life.
Stewardship is the grateful response to God's grace and goodness. It requires a consideration of how our choices affect us and others, of how we can be good caretakers of the created world, and of how we can best serve God as disciples of Christ
