Growth and
Change at NPCC
T
his time of year is a busy and exciting
one for NPCC. We are growing
and changing, perhaps as quickly as our
children:
NPCCWelcomes Back 32 Families…
This
fall we welcome back 32 Families. Eight of the children from
these families will also attend NPNS.
NPCCWelcomes 17 new Families…
We are honored by
the trust that 17 new families have place in us to care for and
educate their child.
NPCWelcomes 2 New Educarers…
Marie Hennessy
is an experienced caregiver and teacher of toddlers,
who has taught at a variety of early childhood programs,
while Kristen Burleson brings an extensive background in
caregiving, coaching and teaching children of all ages. Both
were educated at the Early Childhood program at Norwalk
Community College.
NPCC has Rotated Classrooms…
Five of our six classrooms
have changed locations within NPCC. The changes provide
our:
1) Infants with a larger classroom to practice their crawling
and walking,
2) Younger and Older Toddlers with their own separate
classrooms which, as you can imagine, helps to reduce
the overall noise level,
3) Preschoolers with a mixed age group arrangement which
has been proven to foster stronger social and emotional
development and sharpen communication skills.
Thank you, especially, to the NPC sextons who helped us
to move the heavy furniture, to clean every crevice, and to
ensure that we are in compliance with all state and local
regulations!
Peace and Joy,
Beth Aparicio
