Mom's of Teens
book study group resumes
September 29
. The
group meets on
Thursdays
from 12-1:30 pm in the SHAC. We invite
you to join our group and come as often as you are able. The group is
led by Laurie Bessey and Sallie Schmidt. The curriculum will be listed in
Noroton Notes on a future date.
Music and Fine Arts
W
ell, one of the most wonderful times at any rate. I love the fall with everything
starting up again. The Music Department has many opportunities for you to serve
God and your church. Among them are:
Chancel Choir-
Chancel Choir rehearses on
Thursday nights
from 8:00 pm until 9:30
pm in the Fine Arts Room. We have a very special opportunity to host a
multi-church
choral festival
with internationally acclaimed composer and conductor, Bob Chilcott,
October 28 and 29
. If you can match pitch fairly well, and love to sing, please consider
joining us and becoming a member of the Chancel Choir.
Instrumentalists-
We are looking for you! Please let us know if you play an instrument.
We would love to get you involved.
Praise Band Singers and Instrumentalists-
Our Open Doors Service is looking for
more contemporary singers and instrumentalists. We have openings in all categories.
J.A.M. Children’s Choir-
We’ve had some great groups and expect this year to be just
as good. J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) Choir meets on Wednesday afternoons from 4-4:45 pm in
the Fine Arts Room starting
October 5
. Children from Kindergarten through 6
th
grade are
