Outreach – Coffee in the Lobby -
Since the beginning of September we have started
a low key, low maintenance effort to have coffee available in the welcome area of the
fellowship lobby in the mornings. All are welcome to drop in and enjoy a cup, sit for
a while in a comfortable chair and connect informally with others passing by. Quite a
number of nursery school moms/nannies have expressed their gratitude and commented
on the welcome this conveys.
Bablees Family Update
- October 13 marked the 6 month anniversary of the Bablees
family's arrival in the U.S. As winter approaches we are looking for some gently used
snow boots for all of the family.
If you have any spare snow boots in the following
sizes please bring them to the church office. We need children’s size10-11 for Tawfik,
Women’s 8.5-9 and 7-7.5.
If you are interested in taking the Bablees on a fun low
cost outing on a weekend please contact Sandy McPherson to arrange. The Bablees
especially enjoy time with our extended church family since their family lives so far away.
We continue to transition our relationship from official support to one of friends.
