Women's and Caring Ministry
Ruthie is a wife/mom/grandma currently serving as
the Pastor for NextGen ministries at Grace Chapel
in Lexington, MA. She grew up in Maine, the young-
est of four. She’s got a lot of degrees (MA, MDiv,
DMin) which means she’s really thought about
what she does. Her passion is for casting vision for
parents to be primary disciplers of their children
and church members of all ages and stages to have
opportunities to build relationships with young peo-
ple as ‘faith parents.’
What can I expect?
• Time to breathe
• Time to receive
• To laugh
• To reflect
• To explore Jesus
• Relaxed ‘come-as-you-are’ atmosphere
• A judgment free zone!
• To go home refreshed, with a lighter heart
• To find like-minded sisters searching for
hope in busy, complicated and heavy places
Where is God when we feel hopeless? How can
we take on our identity as beautiful in God’s sight,
freed by Grace- even when we feel chained up by
pressure, anxiety, pain? Throughout the retreat we
will spend time in worship, large group teaching
and small group conversation. Our focus will be on
Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians; that we may know
Jesus better, the eyes of our hearts be opened to
the hope that is for us.
Cost : $250 for a single and $225 for a double/triple
regardless of what building you are in.
