Youth Ministry
Great Things Up Ahead
W
hat a great fall it has turned
out to be, so many exciting
things are happening in Middle
School Ministry. For starters,
our Middle Schoolers collected
$185 from their MS Kickoff
event that was donated to
World Vision for the purchase
of soccer balls and mosquito nets.
We’ve also had some fun in Harbor
and at some of our events.
Looking ahead we have several things we’d love
for Middle Schoolers to be a part of. Election Day
is right around the corner. Make sure to get signed
up for our
LaserTag Day
on
November 7
. A fall
favorite, the
Thanksgiving Special
is coming back
on
November 22
for a special one-hour program.
In December, we will be celebrating Christmas with
a field trip to the
Middle School Concert
on
December 6,
and our own
Harbor Christmas
special
on
December 20.
Lastly, we are beginning our collection of
Dickie’s
Men’s Dri-Tech Comfort CrewWork socks
(can be purchased at Wal-mart or Amazon) for
our friends at the Open Door Shelter. Please bring
donations to the Youth Ministry office or the SHAC.
Collections will continue through
December 20
.
Looking forward to this new season ahead!
Sarah Swible,
Middle School Ministry Coordinator
